Job Summary
The Business Analyst is a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making and process improvements across our natural rubber processing operations. He / she will work closely with various departments, including operations, sales, finance, and procurement, to identify opportunities for optimization, develop insightful reports, and contribute to the overall strategic direction of the company.
Job Description
- Data Analysis & Reporting: collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources (e.g., production systems, ERP, sales databases) to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in rubber processing operations. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, quality, cost, and sales.
- Process Improvement: work with stakeholders to understand current business processes, identify bottlenecks, and recommend solutions for streamlining operations and increasing efficiency. Document and map "as-is" and "to-be" processes.
- Requirements Gathering: elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for new systems, process changes, or technology implementations related to rubber processing. Translate business needs into functional specifications for technical teams.
- Project Support: participate in projects related to process improvement, system implementations, or strategic initiatives. Contribute to project planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Collaboration & Communication: effectively communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and drive adoption of proposed solutions.
- Problem Solving: proactively identify and analyze business problems, develop hypotheses, and propose data-driven solutions.
Profile Description
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a manufacturing or processing industry (experience in the natural rubber or agricultural sector is a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large datasets.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Power BI, Excel, SQL, data visualization software)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP) is preferred.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of business processes and best practices.
- Knowledge of the natural rubber industry and its value chain is a plus.
