Business Information

Our team sources natural rubber from over 20,000 smallholder farmers in Côte d’Ivoire. We then process the coagulated cup lump rubber into Technically Specified Rubber (TSR) and export to destinations in Europe, Americas, and Asia. Our factory at Aniassue has one of the most modern setups around the world. It employs over 500 people and has a rated capacity of 88,000 MT of TSR annually and is also ISO 9001 certified.

We’re committed to sustainable and responsible natural rubber, which includes not sourcing from deforested or high conservation value (HCV) areas degraded after April 1, 2019. We’re a member of the Global Platform on Sustainable Natural Rubber (GPSNR) and our sustainable rubber strategy aligns to the GPSNR policy framework. Our strategy builds on three pillars; livelihoods of our farmers, wellbeing of rural communities, and protection of natural forests, biodiversity and wildlife in sourcing areas. To achieve 100% responsibly sourced rubber, as defined by the GPSNR policy framework, we are developing targets and metrics to measure and report on our progress. We’ll regularly engage with our suppliers on environmental and social topics to promote the GPSNR framework and improve compliance with the framework requirements.

Job Description

A Processing Head ensures that factory and related operations run smoothly, and that the final products meet customer needs while maintaining optimal costs.

Key Deliverables

Operational and Production Management

Oversee daily operations of the rubber processing facility to meet production targets.
Optimize processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
Manage all factory equipment, implementing a preventative maintenance schedule to ensure reliability.

Quality and Compliance

Ensure all processing activities adhere to strict quality control standards.
Maintain the factory's ISO 9001 certification and other relevant quality benchmarks.
Develop and implement HSE protocols to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.

Team Leadership and Development

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of processing staff.
Conduct training and performance management for all team members.

Reporting and Strategy

Prepare and present regular reports on production output, quality metrics, and operational performance to senior management.

Requirements

Proven experience of minimum 12-15 years as a Plant Head or Manufacturing Operations and seeking to manage large, independent operations.
Excellent people management skills and the ability to lead a team with diverse personalities and skillsets.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities concurrently.
