Job Description

A highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead our global Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process for our Rubber BU. This pivotal role will be responsible for orchestrating the end-to-end supply chain, encompassing coordination across all origins, ensuring On-Time In-Full (OTIF) deliveries to our global customer base, and providing strategic oversight to our shipping and documentation teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and negotiation skills, coupled with a deep understanding of international logistics and supply chain best practices.

Key Deliverables

Global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP): Drive and manage the global S&OP process for Rubber, aligning demand forecasts with supply capabilities across various origins. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between sales, and operations teams to optimize inventory levels, production schedules, and delivery timelines.
Origin Coordination: Oversee and coordinate supply chain activities across all rubber origins, ensuring efficient flow of materials and finished goods. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders at each origin.
OTIF Delivery Management: Take ownership of ensuring On-Time In-Full (OTIF) deliveries to our global customer base. Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and disruptions to the supply chain. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to delivery performance.
Shipping and Documentation Team Oversight: Provide leadership and direction to the shipping and documentation teams. Ensure efficient and accurate processing of all shipping documents, compliance with international trade regulations, and optimization of shipping processes.
Freight Negotiation: Strategically negotiate freight rates and contracts for various port pairs, optimizing transportation costs while maintaining reliable service levels. Stay abreast of market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor supply chain performance. Generate regular reports on S&OP effectiveness, delivery performance, inventory levels, and freight costs. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the rubber supply chain, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and enhanced customer satisfaction. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Requirements

Strong understanding of international shipping procedures, documentation requirements, and customs regulations.
Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing favorable freight agreements.
Experience in overseeing and managing shipping and documentation teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and drive data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in relevant supply chain management software and tools.
