Job Description

  • Lead and drive the effective execution of global communication campaigns in the region that support business strategy and goals
  • Drive internal alignment and understanding of Olam Agri’s strategy and business priorities, purpose, values and other priority areas; be accountable for supporting and driving employee engagement in the region through effective content creation
  • Develop content calendar for the region
  • Work closely with colleagues in the region to curate stories from countries across the region and deliver great content (articles, videos, stories) to global and local employees
  • Support regional leadership with effective internal communications; including announcements, engagement and presence on enterprise social network, and events
  • Monitor metrics of enterprise social network in the region to improve engagement and identify opportunities
  • Identify and develop compelling content to support the company’s external positioning and business priorities to engage external audiences such as, and including media, events and speaker engagements
  • Working with comms colleagues, create and deliver communications materials including press releases, key messages, factsheets, presentations, briefing materials and other related communications materials


  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications or a related discipline
  • Minimum 6 years of communications experience, preferably both with media/agency and in-house
  • Excellent editing and writing abilities in English, good stakeholder management and communication skills, excellent attention to details, awareness of deadlines
  • Proficiency in at least one other Asian language is highly desirable – Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese.
  • Proven skills and results in managing communication campaigns
  • Media relations experience working with business, trade and national media (print, broadcast, online)
  • Experience with event management and working with event companies to run events
  • Good visual communication skills with experience in producing content in different formats including enterprise social media posts, video scripts, blogs, GIFs, etc
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media best practices
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs
  • Some local and international travel may be required
