Engineering Services Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Engineering Services Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our engineering services, including Engineering Projects, workshop, utilities, engineering resources, and stores. You will play a key role in driving efficiency, optimizing inventory, and ensuring successful project completion.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a diverse team of engineers, technicians, and other staff to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for the engineering services department, including budgeting, resource allocation, and performance measurement.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of critical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Implement and maintain effective inventory management practices to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity within the department.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering (or a closely related field) required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a project engineering or engineering services management role.
• Proven experience in leading and motivating a team of engineers and technical staff.
• Strong understanding of civil and electrical engineering principles.
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in French is a strong preference, or a willingness to learn French is a plus.
