Job Summary

SAP Sales and Distribution is a core functional module in the SAP ERP Central Component. As the SAP SD consultant you will be involved in documentation, case preparation, testing, integration, support and configuration of SD system requirements.

Job Description

• Gather/document functional requirements and translate functional needs into technical solutions 
• Strong knowledge in business requirement gathering, BBP preparation, Initial stock upload, Test 
Scripts/Case preparation, User manual preparation, Unit testing and Integration testing
• Configure, test, support and implement SAP SD solutions
• To work on Developing/Executing test scenarios and test cases. Hands on experience in Unit Testing, 
Integration Testing and Quality Assurance, error and bug track using HP Quality Centre
• Should perform in SDLC that includes Implementation, Customization, Configuration, Upgrade, 
Integration, Testing and Support of SAP SD with interfacing in areas of MM, PP and FI/CO modules 
• Expertise in configuring Pricing Procedures in Sales and Distribution according to business needs 
• Configuration experience in Special business processes like Third-party, Intercompany sales & 
Consignment sales process
• Work in configuration and set-up of the SD module through IMG and supporting day to day SD module 
issues, providing enhancements, and translating them into system configuration requirements
• Functional capabilities include: - Order to Cash - Cross Channel Order Fulfilment - Available to Promise 
(ATP) - Stock Pools & Allocations - Pricing - Promotion Management & Analysis - Contracts - Ship From 
Store, Drop Shipping - Returns Management & RMA 
• Configuration: Sales Document Types (Sales Order, Delivery, Billing), Item category, Pricing Procedure 
and Pricing Conditions types, Output type Settings & Determination, Customer Master Data Settings, 
Partner Function and Partner function determination, Copy Control, Shipping Point determination 
• Master Data: Customer Master Data, Pricing Condition types, Output condition types (Order 
Confirmation, Delivery Note, Billing) 
• Pricing Procedure
• Subject to on-call rotation, after hours, and weekend work given the 24x5 need for support and 

Profile Description

• Bachelor of technology / B.E or equivalent field, OR a combination of relevant education and between 4 to 8 years of strong, professional, IT technical SAP SD experience.
• Experience in a Professional Services or Distribution company is an asset.
• Should have strong cross-functional knowledge with FICO, MM, PP, QM.
• Excellent knowledge of SD concepts like customer and product hierarchy, variant configuration, pricing, 
partner determination, material determination, material listing and exclusions, text determination, 
availability check, output types, product allocation, output determination, rebate processing, OTC 
(Order to Cash) , Interfaces, Batch Management and Shipment process.
