Job Description

Maintain and support data analytics and BI platforms i.e. end to end environment management of Oracle, MS SQL, Tableau
Monitor system performance, continuously identify and implement performance improvements on databases, data collection systems, data sets, data analytics for optimum efficiency
Agree on key priorities on analytics with the business and deliver the same within agreed timelines and at acceptable quality
Translate business needs to technical specifications and develop analytics that enable decision making
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain the data warehouse
Develop and execute queries upon request for data

Profile Description

8+ Years in an IT environment with at least 5+ years of working experience in delivering Analytics and BI projects
Proven experience as an PL/SQL, Analytics & BI Developer
Strong in Oracle PL/SQL and MS SQL
Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modelling) and data mining
In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP), online transactional processing (OLTP)
Programming (XML/Java script/Python/R etc.) and ETL/ELT frameworks
Solid experience in data analysis, self-service reporting, predictive analytics, BI technologies by making use of advanced analytical software such as Tableau, Power BI, SAP BI
Strong knowledge in SQL statement formulation, performance, indexing and tuning (Preferably Oracle) in recent assignments
Building analytics and complex data visualizations
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Good analysis skills for application design and problem solving
Commodity Trading and Risk Management domain knowledge will be an advantage
Knowledge of PL/SQL tools, SQL management studio, Power BI, Tableau
Technically proficiency in handling REST API, JSON, FIX Formats etc is an advantage
