Job Summary

The Sr. Executive/Lead – Talent Acquisition will be part of the Talent Acquisition COE (Center of Excellence) for Olam Information Services. S/he will be responsible for building a strong talent pipeline that adds to the company’s bottom line. His/her responsibilities will include but not limited to proactively identifying hiring needs, attracting talent using multiple hiring channels, screening potential candidates through assessment, and interviewing techniques and presenting the most suitable talent to the business for interviews.

Job Description

  • Handle end-end IT recruitment that includes but not limited to:
    • Requirement gathering and understanding the business requirements and technicalities involved
    • Sourcing potential candidates on niche platforms, like Stack Overflow and GitHub, and technology communities/social media forums and groups
    • Conduct hackathons, coding contest and tech hiring boot camps to build a steady pipeline of tech talent
    • Perform pre-screening, assessing, interviewing, and pipelining best talent across technology, ERP, digital skills
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to gather feedback and keeping the candidates informed of the hiring status
    • Identify, empanel, and coordinate with the best recruitment vendors/hiring partners
    • Offer negotiation and manage candidate engagement until joining and settling down
  • Network and participate in tech conferences, webinars, and meetups to build a strong network of technology professionals
  • Be a positive ambassador to build an employer-of-choice brand amongst the talent market, constantly engage passive candidates through social-media platforms and tech communities
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications and perform a business need analysis to frame job requirements and objectives
  • Understand the requirements and business needs to be able to source and shortlist suitable candidates through multiple sources and screening techniques
  • Conduct interviews and assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitude using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods
  • Manage hiring through SAP SuccessFactors, technical/functional assessments using online platforms etc.

Profile Description

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in HR/Social Work with at least 6 years of proven experience in IT/Technology recruitment from a reputed IT organisations/Tech Startup
  • Should have worked on all major IT skills, frameworks, and emerging technologies – candidates with good experience working for SAP, IT Infrastructure, Infosec, and new age Digital technologies
  • Hands-on experience in multi-channel sourcing (job boards, social media, online tech forums/communities etc.) and sourcing techniques like X-ray search/Boolean search etc.
  • Solid ability to conduct different screening/interviewing/assessment processes before presenting a suitable candidate to the interviewers
  • Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS) etc., will be an added advantage
  • Should have excellent communication and comprehension skills, excellent presentation skills, strong negotiation skills, ability to deal with people at all levels, inquisitive and be a good team player
  • Excellent working knowledge in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) etc., is mandatory.
