At this moment, OGBS is located in City of Chennai, India and provides its services to over 20 countries. Job Summary

The new hire will be responsible for delivery of HR Services for Olam globally in areas of HR Administration, Payroll & Benefits, Global Incentive Scheme, and MIS – impacting the “onboarding to exit” lifecycle of an employee.  

Job Description

  • Service delivery
    • monitor the adherence to SLA’s and metrics
    • ensure service quality standards are met and defect rates minimized  
    • Define and establish SOP/DTP and metrics for processes
    • Drive projects to modify/improve existing processes 
  • Manage employee and senior management queries in areas of compensation, HR policies and procedures
  • Manage HR and Payroll vendor relationships and ensure timeliness and quality of services provided by vendors
  • Manage the team:
    • Build, train, and manage a high performing team
    • Ensure engagement within the tam and well-being of the team members
  • Close collaboration with HR teams globally, and IT, Finance, Admin and others to manage dependencies in executing critical processes

Profile Description

  • 5-8 years in HR operations role in a mid to large sized operations.
  • Dynamic & smart
  • Experience and familiarity with working with industry-standard HR systems – preferably SAP and SuccessFactors
  • Well-versed with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly possessing advanced knowledge of spreadsheets and formulae using Excel
  • Should have good analytical skills
  • Good communication, interpretation, and comprehension skills
  • Able to influence both external and internal stakeholders
  • Able to deal comfortably with the uncertainty of change. 
  • Some of this will be in the nature of specific time bound projects and therefore the incumbent should be comfortable in a role with multiple priorities
