Job Description

The ideal candidate has experience to manage commercial risks of a physical supply chain business, including commodity price risk management and trading, commercial supply chain management. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a big impact to our Trading team by driving revenue and developing key markets in south and east Africa markets.

Key Deliverables

Responsible for the physical trading of relevant softs/ags/biofuels products across markets" to "Edible Oils (Palm Oil / Soybean Oil / Sunflower Oil) products across South and East Africa markets
Targeting and developing new markets for potential business and expanding network of suppliers and customers
Keep up to date with market intelligence, price changes and supply and demand models through monitoring trends and market conditions to help identify new business opportunities
Working closely with supporting teams in operations and shipping to ensure excellent supply chain management and delivery of products
Build new and maintain existing relationships with suppliers and customers in relevant markets

Requirements

7+ years’ experience in physical trading of relevant softs/ags/biofuels products across markets
Proven track record of consistently delivering positive P&L.
Strong knowledge of softs/ags markets and insights in the supply and demand dynamics
Strong analytical and conceptual skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
