Strategic and results-driven Public Relations & Corporate Communications Manager with over 10 years of experience shaping brand narratives, managing reputational risk, and driving stakeholder engagement across diverse industries. Adept at crafting compelling messaging, leading integrated communication campaigns, and fostering media relationships that amplify corporate visibility and trust. Be able to blend creativity with analytical rigor, specialized in aligning communication strategies with business objectives, managing crisis communications, and building internal cultures of transparency and engagement. Expert in handling media relations, executive communications, CSR storytelling, and digital PR, all anchored in a deep understanding of audience psychology and brand positioning. 

Key Deliverables

  • Assist in streamlining and reinforcing OLAM AGRI - Mozambique brand and value preposition; creating a strong, sustainable and continuous Partnerships and business flatness on its operations in the country.
  • Discuss with interested parties about business opportunities in the country that might meet OLAM AGRI interest.
  • Keep the Management informed of all important upcoming business meetings in all locations that might impact the business.
  • Manage and follow up all specific PR request in and out, Corporate Communications and Public Affairs, Regulatory Affairs and Government Relations, Sustainability, Community Development, ESG, CSR and Business Commercial Affairs

Job Description

  • Develop and sustain a mutual understanding of business operations between the organization and its interested public.
  • Build and Participate in all strategic and plans regarding business opportunities across the country and discuss the same with the management.
  • Research current issues and trends in investor relations framework.
  • Participate and build the development of OLAM AGRI Public Relations strategy.
  • Manage and keep updated database of stakeholders and influencers and provide support to the management whenever required.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with economics and financial analysts, institutions and retail investors, retail brokers, funding Institutions, vendors and contractors.
  • Monitors the accuracy and inclusion of public corporate information that can impact the company performance.
  • Answering business related enquiries from external individuals with consultation to the management.
  • Work collaboratively with all other departments and stakeholders internal and externally.
  • Build and implement PR Policy for the country in line to the corporate strategy.
  • Undertake other duties, which may be appropriate within the role’s responsibility.
  • Ability to work with peers to introducing and influence a new course of action that may benefits both the industry and country and discuss the same with key stakeholders and decision Makers.
  • Support Internal initiatives related to the corporate EE Charter.
  • EVP Branding and translating it into value creation.
  • Collaboration and influencing amongst various Business to build a strong and competitive CORPORATE BRAND.

Requirements

  • BSc. or MBA in Public Relations, Economics and/or any Business Management field.
  • More than 10 Years of proven expereince
  • National Citizen with both Portugues & Inglish written and spoken fluently. 
  • Manage Communication  "Media, Events, Content creation and Brand Preposition. 
  • Engagement Specialist Internal and External. 
  • Sales & Negotiation Skills
  • CRS, ESG, Community and Stakholder continued Engagement.
