Job Description

Lead procurement operations and achieve volume targets as specified by the business.
Conduct supplier evaluations across various risk parameters and onboard them to meet volume requirements.
Coordinate and manage the cleaning plant to achieve desired parameters (quality, yield, and volume).
Oversee warehousing of procured goods and ensure zero stock loss or pilferage.
Manage logistics to ensure safe transportation of goods from up-country warehouses to factory or port premises.
Supervise a full-fledged team comprising warehousing, quality, dispatch, operations, and field assistants to deliver desired outcomes.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and daily MIS reporting.
Strong accounting skills to prepare and monitor budgets (Actual vs. Projected).
Ability to manage crop funding and ensure zero outstanding balances at the end of the season.
Conduct crop studies, field visits, and pre-season surveys to provide ground-level reports to management.
Perform competitor and market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and take proactive measures to achieve business goals.
