Mill Procurement Manager
Job Purpose |

Principal accountabilities (Key activities) |

1. |
Develop Annual and Monthly procurement plans, along with key user departments |
2. |
Evaluate of procurement requests from user department for completeness, issue RFQs to empaneled suppliers, evaluate received quotes and propose procurement actions |
3. |
Monthly / quarterly consumption analysis and stock analysis |
4. |
Monthly/ quarterly vendor account reconciliation |
5. |
Local and regional vendor development |
6. |
Development of medium term/ long term supply partnerships and supply agreements |
7. |
Periodic Vendor review/ evaluation and vendor rating |
8. |
Support Sr Procurement Manager for monthly business reviews |
Main challenges |

1. |
Planning supplies to factor in long lead time from Asia to Gabon |
2. |
Networking with Gabon based stakeholders, across time zone difference |
Qualifications and certifications/Experience requirements |
|
1. |
3 years’ experience in Mill equipment/ spare procurement |
2. |
Engineering degree/ diploma |
3. |
APICS / CIPS certification |
4. |
Experience in Agri material procurement (agri tools, chemicals etc) added advantage |
