Job Description
As a Account Manager, an incumbant will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounts payable processes for all vendors, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with financial terms; reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies efficiently; overseeing stock counts and reconciliation for finished goods, paddy, packing materials, spares, and stores; maintaining the Fixed Assets file and conducting periodic physical verification; implementing and monitoring internal controls; and supporting month-end close activities to ensure smooth financial operations.
Key Deliverables
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare monthly Bank Reconciliation & Intercompany Reconciliation.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to Rice business.
Compliance & Controls:
- Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and external regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal audit teams and external auditors for financial year end audits.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with procurement, operations, and sales teams in matters related to Finance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- ACCA, ICAN certification is an advantage
- 3 - 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in vendor management.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Experience in agricultural or manufacturing sectors is a plus.
