Job Description

Our operations is looking for a dynamic go-getter to lead the sales efforts in the region. You must have an eye for detail, ability to set and drive aggressive sales targets and a strong ability to build performance cultures within your team. The profile involves setting objectives to achieve the top and bottom-line results for the domestic market. You will plan and drive the distribution and coverage objectives set for the year and develop and retain a high-performance oriented team. The incumbent would also be invited to plan and execute sales promotional & market development activities and ensure that any new product launches and sales distribution objectives are met.

Strategic Effectiveness

  • Build the regions sales strategies, define detailed sales plans and profit targets for the business. Build daily beat plans and market coverage strategies.
  • Build review systems to ensure the defined targets are achieved, motivate and guide the sales team.
  • Drive acquisition of new business from the front, lead sales meetings with potential customers in the region.
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made & present sales achievement - Target vs Actual in revenue generation.

Organizational Effectiveness

  • Establishing a comprehensive and system driven process for sales reports. Build the right communication plans with regards to sales reports.
  • Be involved in both farming and hunting of accounts. Drive independent targets for acquiring new customers and sustaining the engagement with the existing customers.
  • Managing and overseeing sales managers demonstrate an ability to meet specified targets within a given time frame. Expand distribution reach.

Requirements

  • Team management, problem-solving, decision making and value orientation.
  • The role requires residing in upcountry locations and frequent travelling.
  • Experience in running a medium-large size profit centre independently.
  • 9-10years of experience in Sales. 
  • The incumbent should have a flair for numbers and excellent communication skills.
