Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of global companies.
  • Liaise with local offices on all corporate matters in relation to the portfolio of companies.
  • Corporate matters include but not limited to the setting up/closing down/merging of overseas entities, changes to the board/council of directors/supervisors, changes to shareholders and corporate structure, opening and closing of accounts, changes to business activities and charter, changes to signatories, changes to signatories, etc.
  • Establish process with members of the team to monitor compliance by global companies, standardization of information flow and availability of information.
  • Participate in KYC compliance and improvement in information availability process and quality of information.
  • Arrange for the execution of documents in relation to overseas subsidiaries and associated companies.
  • Draft resolutions may be required to approve matters in relation to overseas subsidiaries and associated companies.
  • Review and execute corporate guarantees, power of attorney and banking documents in relation to the Olam group of companies globally.
  • Support the Head of Function in ad-hoc projects for investments and divestments.

Requirements

  • Possess 10 years or more relevant corporate secretarial and/or paralegal experience in in-house or service firm
  • Able to work independently and under time pressure.
  • Good organizational skill is important.
  • Confident, meticulous and able to work in a team.
