Job Description

The maintenance manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing all maintenance activities for high capacity pasta production lines with a strong focus on FAVA pasta lines. The role requires a technically skilled and hands on leader who can ensure equipment reliability maintain optimal OEE and manage total cost of ownership within international standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of pasta production machinery utilities and plant systems along with leadership cost management and SAP proficiency.

Key Deliverables

Maintenance and reliability

  • Manage preventive and corrective maintenance for pasta lines to ensure uptime and efficiency
  • Maintain FAVA lines improve OEE and manage shutdowns
  • Record all maintenance activities in SAP

Utilities management

  • Operate and maintain boilers chillers compressors feeders and packing machines
  • Monitor energy use and drive cost saving measures

Cost and inventory

  • Control maintenance budgets optimize spare parts inventory and manage vendor contracts
  • Achieve total cost of ownership targets

Team leadership

  • Lead and develop a skilled maintenance team
  • Promote safety learning and alignment with plant KPIs

Safety and compliance

  • Ensure compliance with safety policies
  • Conduct audits and implement preventive actions

Continuous improvement

  • Drive efficiency and improvement projects
  • Apply TPM and 5S methodologies and use data to close performance gaps

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical electrical or instrumentation engineering
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in maintenance management within a high capacity pasta manufacturing environment
  • Hands on experience with FAVA pasta lines highly preferred
  • Strong technical understanding of OEE TCO and equipment optimization
  • Proficiency in SAP for maintenance management spare parts tracking and cost control
  • Good knowledge of utility systems including boilers chillers and compressed air
  • Strong understanding of safety standards risk management and ISO 22000 principles

  • Safety performance including incidents near misses and corrective actions
