We are one of the leading animal feed and day‑old chick producers in Nigeria. We operate some of the country’s largest poultry feed mills and day‑old chick facilities in Kaduna State and Kwara State. Our aqua feed plant is the first of its kind in Sub‑Saharan Africa and operates alongside a poultry feed mill. Together, these facilities support the growing poultry and aquaculture sectors across Nigeria.

In Vietnam, our feed mill in Mekong Delta service selected fish species with world-class product quality and technology and have established leading brands like Ecotra, Song Fish, Redcrown, and Royalgrow.

To strengthen and expand our animal feed and protein capabilities in West Africa, while generating synergies with its wheat milling business in Senegal we recently acquired Avisen SARL a major suppliers of feed, with its facility located in Rufisque producing over 100,000 metric tons (MT) of feed annually.

Job Description

As a Miller you are responsible for operating and managing milling processes to ensure the production of high-quality finished products in a safe and efficient manner. The role focuses on maintaining optimal mill performance, ensuring consistency in output, and adhering to quality, safety, and operational standards.

The incumbent plays a critical role in monitoring production parameters, minimizing losses, and ensuring smooth day-to-day milling operations while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor milling processes to ensure consistent product quality
Maintain optimal mill performance and efficiency
Ensure adherence to production targets, yield, and extraction levels
Monitor raw material usage and minimize wastage
Maintain quality standards and comply with food safety requirements
Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of milling equipment and work areas
Follow health, safety, and hygiene protocols during operations

Key Requirements

Experience

3–6 years of experience in milling operations (wheat, rice, or feed milling preferred)
Hands-on experience in operating milling machinery and production processes
Understanding of quality standards and process controls in milling operations

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Food Technology, or a related field

Skills & Competencies

Strong technical knowledge of milling processes and equipment
Attention to detail and quality focus
Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in shifts and in a plant environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
